Spencer Gulf Resources & Infrastructure Workforce Summit

RESA joined collaboration partners Workforce Australia - Local Jobs Program, Uni Hub Spencer Gulf, Jobs and Skills Hub Regional Co-ordinator, Regional Development Australia, Spencer Gulf Cities and TACTIC to host the Spencer Gulf Resources and Infrastructure Workforce Summit in Port Augusta. An opportunity to share successes, industry perspectives and strategic responses and opportunities for collaboration.

RESA is partnering with the Department for Education to support the problem based learning (PBL) initative in Moana and Elliston, exploring the problem 'How do we get people to understand the value of mienral resources?' The Department for Enegy and MIning stepped up to connect with Bridgewater Primary for a mine closure PBL project. Students are leading the way in developing strategies to resolve big problems.
